Help Dakota and Family Through Colon Cancer Battle

Today, some of my best friends and honestly the best people received the news that no one wants to hear. Dakota has colon cancer.

Friday, July 5th, 2025, Dakota was rushed to the hospital. He was septic and barely alert. Within 2 hours of getting there, he was admitted and told he had a massive block in his colon. They took him into surgery and had to have 8 inches of his intestines removed as well as a large mass. He is only 28. Well, today, July 14th, they received the call they were terrified to get. The biopsy came back positive for cancer. He also has a mass on his testicle that also has to be removed. We are unsure of whether this is cancerous or not. The future for Dakota, Jacinda (his wife), and their 7-year-old son Malachi is scary and uncertain. He now has a colostomy bag and we aren't sure what else awaits. Dakota is unable to work right now and Jacinda has missed a lot of work due to everything and will more than likely miss a lot more. Dakota is the type of person that would give the shirt off his back. If you need him he is there. He is a selfless man and an amazing father.
