Help Daisy Walk Again — Double Knee Surgery Needed

Hi friends! 

My name is Connor and I’m reaching out with a heavy but hopeful heart to ask for a little bit of help with my sweet American Bulldog puppy, Daisy.

Daisy is just 1.5 years old. She is made of love, curiosity, and cuddles. She’s the kind of dog who wiggles her whole body when she sees you, sleeps with her head on my chest, and knows when I need comfort before I do. She is my heart, my best friend, and my family. I love her more than anything in the world.

Recently, Daisy was diagnosed with bilateral CCL (cranial cruciate ligament) tears in both knees, the canine version of torn ACLs. Without surgery she faces a lifetime of pain, limited mobility, and irreversible joint damage. Watching her limp, struggle to sit, and whimper when attempting to play has been absolutely devastating.

The recommended treatment is TPLO surgery on both knees, which will cost over $8000 in total, including consultations, imaging, post-op care, and rehabilitation. Unfortunately, this cost is far beyond what I can afford on my own.

I’m doing everything I can: saving, applying for assistance, exploring payment plans, etc., but with the need for the surgery to be undergone as soon as possible I’m turning to this incredible community to ask for help. If you’ve ever loved a dog the way I love Daisy, you’ll understand what she means to me.
