Yesterday morning, my beloved 6-year-old dog, Daisy, was hit by a car after she got out of my parents' gate. The car was speeding, and Daisy rolled under the wheel, suffering extensive injuries. I rushed her to the vet, and the news was heartbreaking—she has internal injuries, but we don't yet know the full extent. The vet gave me a quote for all the necessary tests and treatment, but after my partner was in the hospital for a month in March, all of our resources have gone toward his care. Covering the cost of Daisy's care is not possible for us right now.

Daisy is the sweetest, most loving dog, and seeing her in pain is unbearable. I have minimal pain medication for her, and I am desperate to get her the care she needs so she can be comfortable and have a chance at a good quality of life. Every moment counts, and I am doing everything I can to help her heal.
