I’m devastated to announce that my best friend for life lost her home yesterday, June 9th. Around 5pm in the afternoon Daisy smelled smoke. After a weekend of gigs doing what she loves, exhausted and hoarse, she got up only to find the house full of smoke after exiting her room. Once the door opened, an. Explosion happened sending her puppies running for cover. She was able to escape with 3 of her babies and had to wait in agony until the fire department would bring out 1 then the other lifeless and limp. With tears in her eyes she watched at the fire department administered oxygen and brought her baby back to life. Daisy is sadly uninsured. Since her father’s passing, she became her legally blind mother’s sole care giver. She had to forgo insurance to get by. 

We are asking for anything you can do. The house is a total loss. From sentimental items to clothing to even toiletries and dog food. If you or anyone you know has a liveable trailer or mobile home that her, her mother and 5 small puppies are able to use during the repairs, please let me know. 

Any one who knows Daisy knows that she gives before even taking care of herself. It’s our turn to help her. She’s the what can I do to help, showing up at midnight for a smile, making everyone around her happy with her voice, and I got this type of woman. She’s overwhelmed with the next steps and will be facing an unimaginable near future and expenses. Anything you can spare is appreciated and will undoubtedly help to ease this horrible moment in her life.
