My name is Phoenix, and I’m reaching out for help for my beloved pet, Daisy Mae. Daisy Mae is a sweet, playful 3-year-old who has always brought so much joy to my life. Recently, she was attacked by another dog and has been in and out of several veterinary clinics for care. She was first seen at MedVet in Dayton, Ohio, then received ongoing attention at His Hands Extended Sanctuary in St. Paris, Ohio, and most recently at Heritage Veterinary Hospital in Flint, Michigan. After her visit to Heritage, the veterinarians recommended a leg amputation to save her life, and the surgery alone will cost $2,700. Daisy Mae also still has a head wound that needs ongoing care, and she will require medications and support during her recovery.

I recently had to rehome Daisy Mae to a friend in Flint, Michigan, who is now caring for her and doing everything possible to help her heal. This friend has taken on a lot to make sure Daisy Mae is safe and comfortable, but the costs and responsibilities are overwhelming. The funds raised will go directly toward Daisy Mae’s surgery, recovery, medications, and ongoing care for her head wound. It will also help support the friend who has stepped up to care for her during this difficult time.
