Help Daisy Get Laid To Rest

My best friend for 12.5 years at least gone just like that. I knew it, Dash woke me up by wanting to get off the bed because Daisy wasn’t doing good still; she’s been having a hard time breathing. I got up to check on her. She only goes out of her hut at night if she peed in there, and she only did that when she had a seizure, so I know she had one. I cleaned it up for her, and she went back in for a few minutes and came back out, so I checked on her again. It was fine in there. I let her just roam the room and be comfortable.
A little bit later, I told her, let's go back into your hut, and I’ll grab you a blanket. She went back in, laid down, I grabbed her a blanket, and laid back down myself. I didn’t fall asleep because deep down I KNEW something was off. Not even 20 minutes later, I read a Facebook post on a Dachshund page that said their 14-year-old dog passed away, so immediately, of course, I checked on Daisy. She was gone. Screaming, crying, I tried calling my family to tell them. I woke Devon up by crying so hard. Ugh, my best friend, I’ll be with you soon. I love you, Daisy Doo.
