Daisy has been my companion for eight years, and she’s always been a beautiful, smart, and stoic orange tabby cat. Recently, Daisy was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma, a severe form of cancer that is causing her teeth to fall out and is slowly eating away at her gums, the roof of her mouth, and into her nasal cavity. Despite her strength and will to fight, Daisy is now beginning to reject her food, and I can see that she’s struggling more each day.
Her only treatment option would be a difficult surgery with no guarantee of saving her, and I have to make the heartbreaking decision to let her go peacefully. I am currently going through a separation and struggling financially, but I want to make sure Daisy does not suffer any longer. She has given me so much love and comfort over the years, and I want to give her the dignified goodbye she deserves.
I am asking for any donation to help me put Daisy down as peacefully as possible. Your support will mean the world to both Daisy and me during this difficult time. Thank you for reading her story and for considering a contribution to help us say goodbye with love and compassion.
