Hi Everyone,

My name is Daisy, and I’m reaching out during one of the hardest times of my life.

As many of you know, I have already fought and beaten both breast cancer and cervical cancer. I truly believed the worst was behind me. Unfortunately, I’ve recently been diagnosed with kidney failure, and it feels like I just can’t catch a break.

I am now preparing for surgery on the 26th of this month to have a port placed so I can begin peritoneal dialysis (PD) at home. This treatment will allow me to stay in a familiar, comfortable environment and continue caring for my 3-year-old child, who means everything to me.

Because of my condition, I am no longer able to keep up with working a full-time job or maintain my usual daily responsibilities. The financial strain is overwhelming. On top of my medical challenges, I'm moving into a new home and urgently need help with moving and settling in over the next couple of weeks before my surgery.

My sister Sonya and her husband have been incredibly supportive, giving their time, love, and energy, but I don’t want to place more burden on them than they already carry.

I don’t usually ask for help, but right now I truly need it.
