Help Daisy Fight for Her Health
May 4th Daisy's life came to a sombering halt as her health plummeted over night. She had a cyst form on her leg. She spiked a fever and decided to go into the ER in Stayton, Oregon. There her condition was not taken serious and she was discharged without help. Throughout the next 24 hours she continued to have a fever over 104 and was sweating through bedding. She was adviced to go back to the ER immediately. This time she went to Salem Hospital. They urgently rushed her in told her she was very ill and if she had not made it when she did she would of lost her leg or even died. She was taken into surgery because her blood turned septic.
Daisy remained in the hospital for two weeks. During that time she had another three surgeries. Due to the current pandemic she was alone and fighting by herself. Complications piled up as she has diabetes and lost her sight in the midst of this. Her wonderful husband Adrian had to pack and move to find a place that could accommodate her when she would be released from the hospital.
Unable to find a place in time, they had to live in motels for two weeks. They spent all their savings on motels and unexpected new deposit and lease for a place that Daisy could more easily access .
Daisy has always been quick to drop everything to be there for others, but now, she is unable to help others as she is struggling daily. Bills have stacked up and everyday tasks are extremely difficult for her. She’s not able to work and her husband is laid off. They went from two incomes down to a single income of unemployment. Her medical supplies are costly and she’s gotten to the point of realizing they no longer can walk this journey alone.
Please help Daisy easy the burden of this storm and support her in anyway you can!
