As many of you know, Dagney is my beloved dog. She’s been by my side for seven wonderful years, climbing mountains and helping me stay healthy mentally and physically. Recently, she tore both ACLs in her hind legs, which has made it difficult for her to walk and enjoy the active life she loves. After discussing her situation with my vet, we agreed that surgery is the best option for her. Dagney is still young and otherwise in excellent health, so this procedure could give her the chance to live many more happy, active years.

Unfortunately, I am not in a position to pay for the surgery right now, even though my vet is generously offering to do it at cost. The funds raised here will go directly toward Dagney’s surgery, and I will personally cover any therapy or additional needs she may have during her recovery. It’s hard for me to ask for help, especially knowing that these are difficult times for everyone. But Dagney means the world to me, and I’m hoping you might consider lending a hand to help her get back on her feet.
