Dagbjört, otherwise know as Lara is a cherished mother and friend.
Overall kind and courageous person. She has an infectious personality that can brighten any room or day. She has a “go get em” attitude and zest for life. Always up to an adventure. One day about 6 years ago while hiking Lara fell and broke her leg. She then found out from the X-rays that one of her worst fears, had become a reality....Her cancer had returned and it had spread. As result, she chose to live a healthy life style and did everything in her power to try everything she could to give herself the best of chances. We believe that has been a huge factor to her winning this fight for so long. She has achieved so much and i am SO thankful & proud to be her son.
Unfortunately, life has thrown her another curve ball..... She has been in the hospital for over a month and hopes to be going home for round the clock hospice care.
The $10,000 dollars is going to cover approximately a month of at-home hospice care. My mom needs 24/7 care, and her wish is to live the last of her life in the comfort of her own home with her people, and her dog Emma.
