Help Dad's Cancer Battle

Dear family, friends, and kind-hearted strangers,

We are reaching out with a heavy heart, asking for your help to support our dad, Jerry McCollum, who is currently facing one of the hardest battles of his life. In just 3 months, the keystone of our family has gone from being the hard-headed, funny, adventurous man who ran his own construction business to being almost completely bedridden.

In January of this year, he went to the hospital for back pain after falling off his porch. That's when they found his cancer, and we were blindsided by the extent of his condition, multiple myeloma, leaving us no time to mentally or financially prepare. These 3 months have been a whirlwind as we've watched him get weaker and thinner. He is no longer able to support himself, our mom, or the financial situation starting to overwhelm our family.

Your generosity will alleviate the cost of ongoing medical treatments, transportation costs, making their home wheelchair accessible, and help our mom recover from some of the debts his condition has left her with.
