Help dad with expenses after stroke n ❤️ Attack
My dad is 61 On Tuesday after noon my five year old son called me on face time at 11:47am because he was staying the night with his paw paw! Now my biggest fear has always been that, what if something were to happen to my dad while he has my son.So my five year old calls me on face time saying MOMMA call the ambulance paw paw has fallen and can’t get up. He turns the camera around to face my dad on the floor and I could tell it wasn’t good so I called 911 because I was at my house in another town and wasn’t there! As I was driving to them my son called again and he put a pillow under paw paws head by his self.. My dad was taken to the Rochelle hospital to find out that he has had a stroke and that he had a blood clot on the right side of his Brain. Luckily we made it in time for medication to help right away but he was flown to osf hospital there they had removed the clot and within 12 hours. I had then got a call telling me that he started to have a heart attack but they were able to catch it in time and put a stent in his heart. I am his only child and I am a single mother of two, trying my best to help my dad! I can’t afford much but trying my best.Yes I work but I don’t make enough to cover my dads medical expenses. I need to make his house safe. I would like to put a railing in the bathroom and on the front pouch to help him I am also trying to put a gutter on the house because squirrels keep getting in the attic! And help with all the medical bills we have coming..He lives alone and I do what I can for him and work full time a d take care of my kids. This hurts my pride to ask for help from anyone because I don’t like to ask for help from anyone but I just want to help make things easier for my dad! He is our whole world and i don’t know what we would do if anything else really serious we’re to happen to him! Please everyone help me and my babies take care of my dad in these desperate times! I’m not asking for much, even a little will go along way!
update dad is starting to gain strength in his left side, as we no it’s going to be a long road. They do not know yet when they will be releasing him from the hospital, when he is released from osf hospital if he will be going to a rehabilitation center to help. He lives alone so I’m definitely worried for when he comes home.
