Yeni is a husband and dad to three kids in Easton, Maryland. On June 9, Yeni was detained by ICE. This was devastating for Yeni’s family because his oldest daughter is undergoing treatment for Stage IV Hodgkin’s Lymphoma at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore. Yeni is her primary caregiver and only reliable means of transport to her appointments in Baltimore. Without Yeni, his daughter will not receive the medical care she needs to beat cancer. Yeni and his wife already lost one child to cancer when they lived in Honduras and cannot experience the same tragedy again.

Thanks to his team of lawyers and other supporters, Yeni has won a very hard battle in court to be released from ICE detention so that he can be there for his daughter. But, to stay out of detention, Yeni must post a $25k bond in the next few days.
