On August 4th, our lives changed for the worst when our daughter, Jaylyn Marquez, was involved in a severe car accident. From that day forward, Jaylyn has faced everything with incredible strength and resilience. She's been transferred to four different hospitals, and loved ones have been by her side, supporting her ever since.

After many long and stressful months, as a family, we've decided to bring Jaylyn back home. Coming home means she can heal within the warmth and comfort of her own space, rather than hospital rooms. This is a step forward, but it comes with significant and unexpected challenges.

One of the biggest challenges we're facing as a Marquez family is relocating to the Central Valley (Lathrop, Tracy, Manteca, etc.). Being able to be with Jaylyn more than scheduled hospital hours will have a significant increase in care and emotional support. This relocation was planned very quickly to fit the family's needs so we can continue to support Jaylyn. Finances have become increasingly difficult with the many months of traveling to and from hospitals, gas, bridge tolls, food, and of course, the decline in work hours. We will continue to put Jaylyn's needs first and have her best interest at all times.

Like so many families facing serious medical hardship, we’re doing everything we can to keep going and manage it all while making Jaylyn our top priority. With humble hearts, we're asking family, friends, and the community to support us during this urgent relocation. Your support--whether through sharing, donating, or simply keeping us in your prayers--truly means the world to us. All contributions will go directly towards moving expenses, rental deposits, and transportation as we work to rebuild stability. All the family wants is to stay present and as close to Jaylyn as possible while she heals.
