My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer a few weeks ago.

The first treatment of defense is an injection that is supposed to kill the testosterone in his body which is what the cancer is feeding off of. You can read about the injection here: https://medlineplus.gov/druginfo/meds/a685040.html

The injection is $10,000 per shot and he is to get one on a monthly basis for the next few months. He's already had his first injection and we are working with a social worker to try and cover the remaining 20 percent. However, he was supposed to have gotten the second injection today and we were unable to cover the cost. We need help covering this second injection so that he can get it asap while we try to work out future payments.

My dad is turning 60 in January. He is so young! He has six grandbabies, the youngest being two and the oldest 13. He's the life of the party, the guy who gets everyone on the dance floor, the guy who will cry with you and make you laugh and always says the right things. He is annoying as hell because he always says his truth and he is authentic and true to his spirit. There are not many people like him in the world and we need to keep his bright light shining. Please help me and my family during what is going to be a difficult journey. We really appreciate any support you can offer and give.
