Last week, we laid my dad’s mother (our grandmother) to rest, and just a few days later, my dad’s house caught fire. Sadly, everything was lost due to smoke and water damage. The home is not salvageable, and now my dad is faced with the overwhelming task of starting over from scratch. Now we are looking for a new place for him to live and replacing all of his belongings, from furniture and appliances to everyday essentials.

We’re incredibly thankful to our neighbors, the Lee family, who’s daughter saw the fire and her dad acted quickly and saved my dad’s life. Through all of this heartbreak, we’ve been reminded of how God continues to protect us with His merciful love. We are eternally grateful to have my dad here with us.

For anyone who knows my dad, you know what a wonderful man he is. He’s the kind of person who always shows up for family, for friends, for anyone in need. He’s known for his warm heart, his sense of humor, and his ability to lift your spirits no matter what you’re going through. He’s tough, genuine, and always ready to have a good time or offer a helping hand. Now, he’s the one who needs a little support.

This has been such a hard time for our family. With the funeral costs last week and now the aftermath of the fire, we’re reaching out for any kind of help to support my dad as he rebuilds his life. Any donations, big or small, mean more than we can put into words, and we truly appreciate every bit of love and support!
