My dad has always been the kind of man who leaves people better than he found them.

If you’ve ever met him, even just once, you know exactly what I mean. He’s the first to welcome you in, the first to offer help, and the last to ever ask for anything in return. He’s the kind of person who remembers your story, checks in on you when nobody else does, and makes you feel like family the moment you walk through the door.

Growing up with him, I learned what it meant to be cared for by someone who loves with his whole heart. He’s gentle, patient, and endlessly giving—not because he has to be, but because that’s simply who he is. And it’s not just our family who feels that way. My dad has touched so many lives quietly, humbly, and without ever expecting recognition.

Now, for the first time, he’s the one who needs help.

Recently, my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Writing those words still doesn’t feel real. He has always been the strongest person I know—the one everyone else leans on—and now he’s facing a fight no one should have to go through alone. The medical treatments, appointments, and the road ahead come with challenges no one can prepare for, emotionally or financially. As much as he would never want to burden anyone, I know there are countless people who care about him and would want the chance to support him the way he’s supported so many others.

This GoFundMe isn’t just about raising money. It’s about support. It’s about giving my dad relief, dignity, and the space to focus on healing rather than stress. Most of all, it’s about reminding him that he isn’t alone—and that the love, kindness, and generosity he has poured into people over the years has never been forgotten.

If you’re able to donate, share, or even just send a prayer or message, it means more than I can express.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Thank you for caring about my dad. And thank you for helping us give back to a man who has spent his entire life giving to others.
