My name is Danielle and I am fundraising for my dad, Robert Gilberto, who desperately needs a heart transplant.

 

My dad has been ill for many years but since August 2021, my father was hospitalized for 22 days with end stage heart failure. My family and I have been doing our very best caring for him at home.

 

About a week ago, my dad was admitted into the hospital because the medication he was taking is no longer helping him. We were told  my dad now urgently needs a heart transplant. My dad has not been doing well and along with the hospital, we are doing our very best to keep him alive until he gets a heart.

 

As you can imagine, this entire process is taking a toll on myself and my family, mentally, emotionally, physically and financially.

 

Between the medical bills and the costs involved in maintaining my dad's care, any donations made on my dad's behalf would help my family.
