This is the scariest story to tell, or post to make.

Dad has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Prostate Cancer. It is the most aggressive prostate cancer and has already spread to his lymph nodes.

In our first doctor's visit, he already was started on strong hormonal therapy and will be starting radiation towards the end of December.

I know we're all having the toughest of years. We'd love to begin raising money to help Dad beat this and stay as comfortable as possible, doing so. If there is any chance of giving any amount, please know that it will immediately go to pay medical bills that, amazingly, are already piling up. Funds will be used for bills first, then comfortable items (clothes, food, warm boots, etc.).

If we exceed the amount we're asking for, those funds will go to filling food fridges around the Chicago area, and possibly, if we have the time, to hit a couple of bucket list items of Dad's - seeing Palm Springs again, visiting his old apartment on Venice Beach, taking him to fly first class for his very first time...
