Help Dad Evans gain enough strength to come home.

Hello, my name is Shani and I am fundraising for Errol Evans and his family to cover medical expenses.
Dad Evans and his wife, Sandra (Mom Evans to me) like many retired couples, love to travel when they can. They were nearing the end of a cruise when Dad Evans suddenly fell ill. He was having trouble breathing. After seeing the ship's doctor, he was urged to seek medical attention at the next port, Malaysia. When the ship docked at the port he was admitted and was told he was experiencing congestive heart failure. While in the hospital, and on the day of his 76th birthday, March 3rd, he suffered a stroke.
Suffering a stroke is scary enough, but add in the fact that you and your wife of 53 years are over 10,187 miles away from your home in South Florida; 10,167 miles from your son Stephen; 9,275 miles away from your daughter, one of my very best friends, Thembi in Texas; everything just became 10,187 times scarier.
Dad Evans is currently in the ICU. He is unable to speak and eat on his own, but is stable. Tests are being run frequently to monitor any potential threats to his progress. Provided he remains stable or progresses, he will be moved to a regular room. The doctor has told Mom Evans that they could be there for several weeks. They will not allow him to travel back to the US until he is strong enough.
As you can imagine, the medical bills which may include transportation to a US hospital via a medevac aircraft for $100,000 plus have already started coming in.
Even from across the world, he is surrounded by love and light. With “his Sandy” right by his side, he will fight to get healthy enough to come home. He will fight to see his children, grandchildren, brother and sisters and friends galore.
Yes, Errol and Sandra Evans are my BFF's parents, but to me, they are Dad and Mom Evans…amazing humans, warm, and inviting, the life of the party and I love them like family. Please give what you can and help me bring Dad Evans home and on the road to recovery.
Dad Evans, I need you to get better!!!! And when you are ready (and if Mom Evans and Thembi allow you to) Eric and I will have a white rum waiting for you.
