This year has been especially difficult for nonprofit organizations due to the current administration ending or reducing critical funding. D3 Arts has been deeply impacted by these cuts. We are exploring every avenue—applying for grants and seeking alternative funding—to keep our space and programming going, but despite our best efforts, we have not seen a positive return.
The reality is that the shows and events we host are not designed to generate large profits. In fact, that is often why our work is overlooked by traditional funders who fail to see the value of what we provide: a safe, accessible space that supports and uplifts communities often pushed to the margins.
D3 Arts proudly partners with and serves the punk scene and its associated genres, Mexican and Mexican American Indigenous communities, skateboarders, LGBTQ+ individuals, and—most importantly—the recovery community. We exist for the weirdos, the creatives, and the marginalized who need a place to belong.
Your support right now will help ensure that the stability plans we are actively investing in have the chance to succeed. Thank you we love ya!!!
