Our beloved Cyrus is suffering a serious neurological condition as of July 2021.
Our family went through severe crisis and my son and I were left alone to figure things out.

Cyrus has been diagnosed late in life and this family crisis activated a neurological imbalance (layered diagnosis of Autism, Schizoaffective Disorder and ongoing psychosis) that we are now managing.
Cyrus and I successfully re established ourselves and we spend all of our time trying to understand his illness.
No one needs to suffer like this, there ARE answers and I urge you to share this post with anyone dealing with mental illness. There are treatment centers all over the world outside of the U.S. that can possibly heal your loved one.
Cyrus is somewhat stable now but nowhere near baseline. With all of the stigma and judgement around mental health, I ask you to please read about this condition and how no one is immune to its massive domino affect.
A few of our key supporters turned away from us in the time when we needed them the most and I believe this is because of the fear and mystery around such diagnosis. Fortunately we still have a whole family and community behind us.
The key is to keep talking, keep sharing and ask your loved ones to come out of isolation. To release the shame and fear and join us in our healing journey.
Cyrus is still recovering and we have come far but he still needs as much support as possible.

After 18 months of research and trials with various doctors we have found a promising treatment solution.
