Help Cynthia Wilburn Get a Life-Saving Liver Transplant
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Jessica Patman, and I’ve created this fundraiser for someone I truly admire—Cynthia Wilburn.
In February, Cynthia fell seriously ill with a virus that spread through her bloodstream and began attacking her liver. Despite undergoing treatment, her liver sustained significant damage. As her condition worsened, she was placed on a new treatment plan, but sadly, it did not bring the recovery we had hoped for. Her liver continued to deteriorate, and she was recently admitted to Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, where doctors delivered heartbreaking news—her liver may only last another three months, possibly less.
Cynthia has now been added to the liver transplant list and urgently needs a liver transplant.
This journey has taken an emotional and financial toll on her family. Her husband of 30 years, Eric Wilburn, has been by her side from the very beginning, taking leave from work to be with Cynthia and care for their 12-year-old daughter, Erica. Erica is a bright, strong young girl who deeply misses her mother and is struggling to navigate this crisis without her at home.
With both parents unable to work, the family is facing overwhelming financial challenges. Funds raised will go directly toward:
• Medical bills and transplant-related expenses
• Emergency and transportation costs
• Help covering lost income
• Household needs for the family during this critical time
Your support—whether it’s a donation, a prayer, or simply sharing this campaign—means the world to Cynthia and her family. Every contribution brings us one step closer to giving Cynthia the chance to heal and return home to her loved ones.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
With gratitude,
