Help Cynthia Walk Again After TBI
Donation protected
Hi,
My mom- the fun-loving gal you see pictured in the center has suffered a severe traumatic brain injury in November of 2024. This injury has left her severely disabled and unable to walk, talk, or mobilize all of her extremities. This photo is of my brother, Mathew and I, and Mom last Mother’s Day. We made a promise to one another that no matter what was going on in our lives or how busy we might be, we would celebrate every Mother’s Day together on the beach. This year may look different for us, but we’re hoping you can help us get as close to the beach as possible. Our mom, Cynthia Wenzelburger is in a skilled nursing facility that does not cover any rehabilitation. All of the expenses for occupational therapy, speech therapy, and physical therapy are adding up. They say the “golden period” for patients that have suffered a TBI are months 3-6, which we are approaching now. We are so thankful Mom is still here and we know it is for a reason. She is loved by many and she has so much love still in her heart. Please help us by sending love back to her. We appreciate anything you can contribute, even if it is just a share on your social media page or a pass-along to a friend to spread the message. Thank you so much.
