Cynthia McNeese Pena and her husband, Felix Pena, have always been the kind of people who put others first. Cynthia works three jobs, constantly striving to help her family financially, and is known for her loving and kind spirit. Felix, who works full time in Spring Hill, is the heart of laughter in their home, always making others smile while working hard to provide for his family. Their daughter, Morgan, is just as resilient and caring as her parents.
Recently, while Cynthia and Felix were out of town, tragedy struck. During the day, their daughter Morgan, her boyfriend, and their dog were at home when a sudden, loud boom startled them. Morgan’s boyfriend quickly realized the house was on fire right next to their room. In a panic, he woke Morgan, and together they called Cynthia for guidance. Thankfully, Morgan, her boyfriend, and their dog managed to escape the burning home, but the fire took everything—clothes, appliances, cherished belongings, and the sense of security they had built over the years.
Now, Cynthia, Felix, and Morgan are left with nothing but each other. They spent the night in a hotel, unsure of what comes next. Thankfully, they have found a new rental property, but they need financial support to purchase new clothing, appliances, beds, furniture, and so much more. Cynthia and Felix have always been there for others in times of need, and now it’s our turn to be there for them. If you are able to donate to Cindy and Felix, it would help them so much to get back on their feet. It would be an incredible blessing to see their community rally around them in this difficult time. If you’re not able to donate, please pray reverently for their family. Thank you all so much for your support. Blessings, Brittany Welch.
