Hi everyone. On July 18 2024, my mom went to the hospital for a heart attack. We were hopeful that she would be able to get treatment on Guam. We were at a loss for words when we found out how severe the condition of her heart was. We were told that she would need to have treatment off island so she can get the best care for her heart at this time. A few days later on, after she got discharged from the hospital, on July 30 2024 she had a stroke. So my family and I are working as hard as we possibly can to get my mom out for treatment as soon as possible, but we do need some help.

We are fundraising for my mom, Cynthia Borja. I am starting this GoFundMe so that we can help raise funds for her open heart surgery (CABG) and anything else needed for her care. Some of you may know her from work or even made friends with her along the way. If you ever did meet my mom, you know she is one of the most kind, generous, and selfless people I know. She is the best daughter, sister, mom, auntie, and grandma and is always there for her friends and family or even people who are in need without a second thought and expects nothing in return. Although she has been going through so much these past couple of weeks, she has remained hopeful and is putting her faith in God.
