Hello, my name is Kristine, and I live in the UK. I have created this fundraiser to support my daughter, Cynthia, and her friend, Paige, who dedicate their time, money, and energy to rescuing stray and abandoned cats in the UAE.

Alongside their full-time jobs, they spend their evenings, weekends, and much of their own income rescuing cats that have been abandoned, injured, or are suffering from illness. Many require urgent veterinary treatment, medication, food, vaccinations, neutering, and ongoing care before they can recover and, hopefully, find loving homes.

Like many people, they could walk past and tell themselves someone else will help. But they simply can’t. When they see a cat suffering, they stop. They make room, find a vet, and do everything they can to give that animal a chance, even when it means sacrificing their own time, finances, and often their own mental wellbeing.

Together, they have now helped over 30 cats, with many successfully recovering and some even finding their forever homes in the UK. Sadly, every happy ending comes with significant veterinary costs, and new rescue cases continue to arrive.

They currently have thousands in outstanding veterinary bills and never want to turn away an animal that could be saved, but they cannot continue without support.

I have created this fundraiser because I want to help them continue their incredible work. As the organiser, all donations will be paid into my UK bank account. The funds will then be used to pay veterinary clinics directly wherever possible, helping cover outstanding bills and the cost of ongoing treatment. Where a direct clinic payment is not possible, funds will only be used for essential rescue expenses such as veterinary care, medication, and food.
