Help Cynthia Fight Cancer

Hi, my name is Jason Bristor, and I am fundraising for my beloved wife, Cynthia Bristor, who is 47 years old. She has been recently diagnosed with an ultra-rare stage 4 Adrenocortical Carcinoma cancer that has metastasized to her lungs and liver. It is a cancerous tumor in the adrenal gland that is found on top of the kidney and has spread to her lungs and liver.

My wife was a caregiver to her mother, who suffered from Alzheimer's and passed away from COVID in 2021. Cynthia has been a mother of five, of which the youngest is 13 years old and, as a minor, is dependent on her.

She has also been my caregiver for several years, as I am a disabled Veteran suffering from seizures, severe anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Due to my medical conditions, I cannot drive, and I depend on her as my caregiver.

Cynthia has been there for others; now it is time for us to be there for her during this difficult time of fighting cancer.

Cynthia's medical insurance only covers 80% of her medical expenses, but the other 20% is billed to her as a responsibility.

Since Cynthia's diagnosis, we have encountered unexpected expenses of cost-related hospital stays, medical bills, gas, food, and tolls. Additional personal expenses due to medical appointments she must attend are forthcoming treatments and surgery.

Since Cynthia is being treated for an ultra-rare form of cancer, she must seek medical attention out of state as few specialists can provide medical attention for this type of cancer. Therefore, travel and hotel expenses are also required when seeking medical attention, she needs.
