This is my sister Cyndi with her grandkids Vivian and Oliver.
- Cyndi was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2022. She was treated with chemotherapy for several months then finally underwent a surgical resection. Her surgery ended up taking 8 hours due to complications and she had to stay in the hospital longer because of those complications. This occurred at the same time her grandson Oliver was born. It was a scary time for our family but she was so strong and determined to get well.
- Cyndi has worked in the healthcare field for 37 years, the last 16 as a registered nurse. She has dedicated her life to caring for people. It’s now her turn to be cared for!
