**UPDATE** This past weekend (2/13-2/14) Curtis passed away peacefully in the hospital with his wife Flor by his side. I know that Curtis would have been so grateful and humbled to have so many of you offer help to both him and his family in their time of need, so from Curtis and his family, thank you so, so much. The world is just a little darker this week as we remember Curtis and the light he brought into it. Thank you all for you support.
On Thursday February 4th 2021, Curtis was involved in a serious accident. As many of you know Curtis is in the Army reserves. He has served our country for many years (18 I believe). He has been actively serving for the past year overseas and most recently in our nation’s capital during the inauguration. He was on his way back home from serving in DC when was in an automobile accident involving a semi-truck in Indiana. He was rushed to the hospital and is in critical condition. His wife is presently by his side while their five children are being cared for by three family members.
That all being said, we have no idea what sort of financial needs and medical bills are going to come from this event and we would like to start raising some money to help with those bills as well as provide some funds for the family members taking care of the children.
