Hi, my name is Curtis Davis. I’m a hardworking employee doing everything I can to stay afloat during incredibly challenging times. In this tariff-laden economy and with the rising cost of essentials, even the basics have become a struggle.

Recently, I had to make an emergency trip to visit my mother, who has been very ill. She needed me—and I went without hesitation. Unfortunately, my job doesn’t offer any paid time off, and I missed a full week of work without pay (actually 6 days). Now I’ve fallen behind on crucial bills and need help to catch up before things get worse.

$239.34 – Back Storage Payment Due Now(Another $230 Due August 1st)

I'm behind on my storage unit.

This unit contains my personal and irreplaceable belongings. Losing it would be a devastating step back that I'm not coming back from. Since I lost my apartment, it's everything in there. Including the only copy of my first poetry book, and everything important to mom, dad and Jason and me ever!

$25 – Phone Card (Due July 20th)

My phone card will stop working tomorrow on July 20th right when I need to call work for a ride to work. Without my phone, I lose access to my job, family, emergency services, and lifelines of support.

$200 – Rent & Utilities

I’m short due to the missed income. Even small donations will help keep me safely housed. I don't want to lose the cats and have to go back to the homeless shelter (long story).
