Hey, I am Kara the sister of Curtis Koerner, he was in a horrible rollover car accident on April 29th, the day after his bbirthday. He was on a dirt road and took the corner to fast and hit a washboard and went in the ditch came out and went back in. His vehicle rolled 5 times, he was ejected and flew 30feet and slide another 15feet. He is still in the woods, and will have a very long recovery. He is stable but still has a breathing tube in place and might be there for another couple days. He had to have life saving emergency field work before even making it to the hospital. Cpr and tubed and bagged in the field they found him in, along with receiving blood because he lost alot. The surgeon said he tried dying on them. He had all 3 of his dogs with him at time of accident, they are currently at the vet, they are banged up and bruised and 1 has a dislocated hip. The dogs and Curtis alre all lucky to be alive after looking at the vehicle.

He is going to have vet bills, medical bills along with rent and a vehicle payment on his other vehicle. He does not have medical insurance so I am starting this go fund me to help with all the bills that will be coming to help him any way possible.

I am going to copy and paste all the things I know so far.

Another update:

He has a small fracture in his pelvis, where his hip was dislocated, no surgery. 5 fractured ribs, no surgery, several fractures on the tips of a few vertebrae on his spine, no instability so no surgery, both shoulder blades broke, but no surgery, just splints, he has a huge laceration behind left ear that plastic surgery will fix tomorrow. His wrist was fractured so bad it cut the tendons and arteries but repaired and got circulation and color back. And they had to perform cpr so have to wait til he is taken off sedation to see if any brain damage.

Update.

The Dr just came. His bleeding from his spleen almost killed him. His wrist fracture was so bad it cut the tendons and arteries, and his hand was turning purple and cold. He got it fixed, and circulation was improving and the color returning. So he thinks his limb will be ok. His hip was dislocated, but I'm not sure if it was fractured yet, He has to get a ct scan to look into it further and check for bleeds anywhere. And go from there.
