Help Curtis & his family through a difficult time

Hi, my name is Kalia. I am trying to raise money for my childhood best friend that has fought a long hard battle of Osteosarcoma. He is 25 years old and no family deserves to loose a loved one so young. It all started with a simple pain in his leg in 2019 which then turned into replacing his knee and part of his femur because of the cancer. He then went into remission in May of 2020, which we were all so excited about! And then it came back in December and into his lungs this time. The doctors have tried everything they could from doing multiple chemo treatments, draining of his lungs, putting him on oxygen and nothing seems to be working. The doctors had planned to remove one of the bigger tumors and were too afraid he wouldn’t recover from it so they tried chemo again. The tumors are growing so rapidly that his left lung collapsed just recently and he is really struggling to get oxygen. He is home now on hospice able to be spending his last days with his loving, caring family.

Curtis is one of the sweetest, most kind hearted human beings I’ve ever known. So we ask why him right?! Well I like to say, because this world is too messed up for such a beautiful soul!!

We are reaching out to all of you to support his family, they have clearly been through a lot mentally, emotionally, physically, and financially. Curtis’ dream is to be buried under a beautiful tree in Folsom, CA so his family and friends can go visit him anytime.
