Bad decisions, bad luck and Covid combined, all added up to the unfortunate reality of losing my transportation and then, housing. I've been homeless and living in a tent for some time now, unable to find work or receive reasonable help from the city. I tried to ride this out as long as possible, without asking for too much help but I've come to the point where I have no pride left to swallow: I have to ask for help. I can't do this anymore. Without the ability to shower regularly, or electricity, I can't find work. I figure the best solution for me right now would be to get into a livable vehicle to call home until I can get on my feet. An R/V or van would be heaven compared to being in a tent , forced to move every other night by the city, never knowing where you're headed or if it will be safe.
I hate asking for help. I hate admitting that I need it. But I'm desperate. I hope that I can raise enough money here to buy shelter. Thank you for reading this far and even if you can't help with a donation, if you could share this with someone who can, it would be so very appreciated. All my love.
Curt
