Our most favorite golden retriever, Curry, is currently out of commission and will need an extensive surgery and medical treatment. Curry suffered a pretty serious leg injury. Ann, Curry’s handler, let us know today that she is looking to have surgery in the next couple of months and the surgery is pricey.

Ann is “figuring it out” but we’d like to ease some of that burden.

Curry spends everyday in some part of our hospital with patients and staff and brings so much joy to Mercy as a therapy touch dog.

She’s especially important to the BH department and helps our patients so much!!

Ann has lovingly accepted and embraced our patients when psych was the one department people generally avoided in the past.. her and Curry consistently dedicate every Friday to our BH patients and we want to show them how much we appreciate it.

Curry is pretty sad that she doesn’t get to join her partner Ruby everyday and especially sad she doesn’t get to swim and hunt squirrels.

Lets show them how much we will miss them and help Curry get better sooner!
