Help CuriosiTeas stay open for the people of Darlington

We have been putting this off for a while now, one because we don't want to admit near defeat, and two because we are rubbish at asking for help.

We are into our 3rd year of running our small business, and our aim to provide a safe welcoming space for you and your little people, whilst providing good coffee and homemade treats, including homemade baby food and snacks is what we pride ourselves on.

Our regular customers will have seen all of the changes, and improvements we have made since we opened. It's also been no secret that running a small business has been extremely tough for us with a number of factors being, rent and rate costs, energy, minimum wage rises, all of these come with little or no relief for small businesses, particularly those in town centre locations and hospitality.

We have tried to provide quality food and drinks. And maintain a lovely play space without raising the prices too much, but the reality is if we don't make some changes and fast, we will be no more......

Despite difficulty paying ourselves and working all the hours and more, Richard and I have continued to dig deep, and carry on, because we are so proud and grateful for the ever growing CuriosiTeas family we are building, the community feel that we get every day we're open, whether we're busy or quiet, and we don't want our fantastic customers to never be able to get their CuriosiTeas fix anymore.
