Our family is leaning on faith and love as we face an unimaginable challenge. My name is Adaorah Ikwueme, and I’m writing on behalf of my incredible younger sister, Beverly Ikwueme-Saka—a devoted wife, new mother, and oncology nurse with over 10 years of service.

Just months after welcoming her first child, Beverly received a devastating diagnosis: T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (T-ALL). What began as routine bloodwork quickly turned into a life-altering battle. She now finds herself on the other side of the hospital bed—undergoing aggressive chemotherapy to fight the very disease she has helped countless patients endure with compassion and strength.

By her side every day is her loving husband, Ademola, who is caring for Beverly and their four-month-old daughter, Temilade, with unwavering devotion. Our mother, Lady Chinwe (“Mama Chi”), along with our extended family and friends, are doing all we can to surround her with the support and faith she has always given so freely to others.
