Cup of Gold's Construction Survival Fund

Cup of Gold Coffee & Tea Company was a dream for 12 years before opening it's doors to this amazing community just 7 months ago in July 2024. It's grown by leaps and bounds, especially after a very successful holiday season. We are hoping our community will rally behind us now!

We just received notice construction will begin on the properties next door to us within the next few weeks (March 2025), and it will last through Summer 2025. They will need to erect 6-8’ tall fences around the perimeter, which will make sight-line of our little shop very, very difficult.

This is where we need your help.

We have seen how construction projects like this can hurt small businesses in our community. For Cup of Gold to survive this, it needs to stand out.

As a single mom, I created Cup of Gold after experiencing 2 layoffs during and after COVID. It has been a bootstrap endeavor fueled by grit, vision, passion, and love. The mission from the start has been to partner with local small businesses and our community. That's why we work with local small-batch roasters who support farmers around the world, ethical and responsible family-owned tea companies, and talented local makers with high-quality handcrafted products. Community is more important than ever these days, and we are committed to doing our part.
