Help CT Crushers go to Cooperstown in 2022
The 12U CT Crushers are heading to Cooperstown!
The CT Crusher 12U baseball team is based in Orange, CT and comprised of 12 players from various towns across Connecticut. These towns include Norwalk, Shelton, Madison, Woodbridge, and Orange.
This group of All-Stars is heading to Cooperstown, NY in August 2022 to play in a National Baseball Tournament. There will be 104 teams from all over the country competing for a championship. The boys will also have some fun, competing in a Homerun Derby and various Skills Competitions.
For these baseball players, this is a DREAM COME TRUE! The players have spent countless hours practicing and playing in both local games and regional tournaments. These kids have proven over and over their commitment to the game, their coaches, and teammates. As parents, we are proud to see their growth not only as ball players but as maturing young men who love the game of baseball.
The kids need your help to raise $20,000!
To help offset the cost of each player, the team is looking for donations. Your donation will help pay for uniforms, meals, lodging, umpire fees, laundry service, Hall of Fame Rings, and an induction into the Cooperstown Youth Baseball Hall of Fame. Here, the players will join the ranks of Bryce Harper, Mike Trout and Connecticut’s own George Springer, Charlie Morton, and Matt Barnes.
We THANK YOU for taking the time to read our story and if you feel inclined, we appreciate your donation. These boys will create memories that will last a lifetime and we can’t wait to watch them play! GO CRUSHERS!
Special thanks to coach Chris Wetmore and John Porto for guiding these young men through this amazing journey!
