Help CSU students recover from fire caused by drunk driver

Donation protected
Hi everyone,
My daughter and her roommates survived a harrowing ordeal in Fort Collins early Friday when a drunk driver crashed through their living room and into their kitchen, starting a fire almost immediately. Amazingly and thankfully, no one was seriously injured, including the five residents of the home (all CSU sophomores), two guests, the driver of the vehicle, and his passenger, all of whom were able to escape the burning home. We are grateful to Poudre Fire and the Fort Collins Police Department for their quick response.

The home is not livable and all contents have been lost, including all of the girls' furniture and all of their belongings (clothing, sentimental items, school supplies, outdoor gear, etc.). Thankfully, their property management company has already found a different house for them to move into in the near future on the other side of campus in Fort Collins. We are working with the insurance companies involved to try to replace as much as possible of their clothing and personal items, however we would be truly grateful for any donations to help them set up their new place. They are starting from scratch and will need furniture, kitchenware, and other household items, in addition to each of their personal belongings.

The beneficiaries of this fundraiser are my daughter, Jordan, and her roommates Bella, Jayden, Amma, and Samantha. All funds will be used to replace furniture, household and kitchen items, and personal belongings lost in the fire.
