Help Crystal's Family Through Recovery

Hello! My name is Crystal and I'm a mom & wife. I was pretty active these last few years right after I lost a ton of weight. Our little family loves camping, kayaking, bicycling, and just making memories.

I stopped driving in January when I had an incident where my legs went numb and I barely made it home safely from work. I lost my job and we've been using all of our savings to cover bills and stuff. Sadly that is running low now.

On September 4, 2024 I had the following procedures:

1) bilateral L4 and L5 laminectomy

(2) partial medial facetectomy L4-5

(3) arthrodesis, posterolateral fusion technique L4-5

(4) posterolateral instrumented fusion with pedicle screws and dual rods L4-5

(5) allograft, morselized, the use of osteo promotive material for bone fusion

Diagnostic Test: MRI lumbar spine

Left paracentral annular tear with focal disc protrusion at L4-5 level

Neural foraminal narrowing and mild narrowing of the central canal.

My legs go numb and tingly as well as my fingers. I wouldn't wish this pain on anyone.

Healing time is going to take up to a year. My husbands income alone is not going to be enough. We've worked so hard to build what we have and I just dont want to see us lose it. We are not one to ask for handouts or help. This godfundme took a lot of crying to get through as well.

Any help is appreciated, even if you just want to cook dinner and drop it off one night.
