With sadness and a heavy heart my bother-in- law Eric Casillas passed away on Christmas Eve, unexpectedly. Eric was taken from us too soon at the age of 40 years, one week before his 41st birthday, New Years Eve. He left behind his beautiful wife, Crystal, and daughter Cami Casillas. It has been a tragic loss especially during the holiday season for his wife, daughter, and family. Eric was loud, funny, and full of life. Eric lived and loved his family unconditionally to the end. He was the head provider for their family that being said leaving Crystal with unexpected expenses.

My fondest memories of Eric is his diligence to be the number one Cookie Seller for Cami's Girl Scout Troop 13591 every year. He worked endlessly promoting the Girl Scout Cookies to friends, family, and strangers. Since Cami joined the girl Scouts as a Daisy and now a Cadette, he has been devoted to her and the troop.

Not only did he cherish his daughter but loved his wife Crystal unconditionally for half of his life since it was definitely love at first sight. The family shared a love for Disney and always had precious memories of many visits to Disneyland. Eric adored his wife and always tended to her needs as the best chef and handyman of their home. Any donations to this fund will help with funeral costs and unexpected expenses that the family will endure.
