Those that know our family know that my older sister Crystal was finally expecting a baby after so long.

Baby Ayla was born early on October 14, 2024, at just 23 weeks and 6 days. Crystal was rushed into an emergency C-section where she delivered a 1-pound baby girl that was rushed to the NICU in Kadlec Medical Center. Just 4 days later, Baby Ayla suffered a grade 4 brain bleed and had to be transferred to Seattle where doctors said that IF she survives, she may not be able to walk when she is older.

Crystal is in Seattle staying by her daughter's side, but that means that she has no housing and unfortunately does not qualify for public housing or assistance from the state to be able to get into temporary housing while Ayla is fighting for her life. This GoFundMe will be used to help Ayla's parents afford a place to stay in Seattle temporarily while they stay by her side, not working and still needing to ensure that their financial demands at home are satisfied.
