One week ago, Crystal became ill with influenza A. Her immune system is compromised from her cancer treatments. On top of the flu, she ended up getting a kidney infection which went to her bloodstream, causing sepsis. The doctors have identified E. coli in her blood and are targeting it with IV antibiotics. This is a serious life-threatening situation. Crystal is a single mom and is not going to receive any paychecks from her employer while she is sick. We are trying to raise money to cover rent, car payments, etc. while she is unable to work.
