So that's my dad's perspective, here's mine:

Hello, my name is Crystal.  To those of you who may not know me, I have been suffering from mental health issues for the entirety of my adult life and adolescence.  I am diagnosed Bipolar. I also have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from sexual abuse during childhood.  Having been hospitalized for mental health six times in my life, I have exhausted medication. I have tried virtually every medication under the sun but nothing gives. 

January 2020, I made a suicide attempt.  I was so engulfed in pain and sadness that I took a bottle of prescription medication.  Thankfully I survived. However, since then I have been taking an extensive amount of medications.  Everyday I take Wellbutrin for depression, Lithium as a mood stabilizer to prevent mania, Abilify another mood stabilizer, Buspar for anxiety, Thorazine for sleep and Prazozin as needed for nightmares.  Even still I experience depression and intrusive suicidal thoughts. 

Since taking these medications I have developed a stomach condition (I vomit every other day), my hands shake, I gained 60 pounds and have fatty liver now because of that. When I tried getting off of some of these medications I experienced  increased suicidal thoughts and anxiety.  I got depression so bad that I couldn't even brush my teeth. 

I cannot continue to live this way.
I need something more.  

I have done my research and found TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation). This procedure is done by stimulating the parts of the brain that have decreased activity. This treatment has seen exceptional results. Maybe I won't have to take meds anymore, maybe it will cut my meds in half.  Either way, I'll take it.  I need this change in my life. 

The problem is most insurances do not cover this procedure and its over $10,000. If there is any financial support that you can provide I will be eternally grateful. I appreciate all emotional support as well. Thank you for your time in reading this. I hope to feel better soon.
