Update 5/21/25
Unfortunately we were informed today that my mother's life insurance policy is invalid due to the untimely manner of her death. We are now in need of immediate funds for funeral home expenses.
Update 5/20/25
It is with great sadness to inform you, we lost my mother last night on 5/19/25. She passed peacefully with family in the home and her dog by her side.
The continuance of the fundraiser will now help with things that need to be taken care of over the next few weeks.
Thank you to everyone that has contributed, shared, reached out, texted, etc. We love all of you!

Crystal Fox, my mother, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Bile Duct Cancer in her liver in March of 2024. After battling 15 rounds of chemo, several rounds of immunotherapy (that her body rejected), and one Y90 Radiation procedure.... She is now in the hospital for the fourth time throughout this journey, and we've been informed that her cancer has gotten significantly worse.
William "Bill" Fox, my stepfather, and myself agreed after 2 weeks of intense medical care, to bring in Hospice. She should be home in a matter of days and her insurance doesn't cover home health care services and certain supplies.
IT'S NOT HOSPICE that we need to pay for, they're covered. Problem is, they only come out once a day M-F, and there are going to be times where my stepfather and I will have to be out of the house at the same time, and she cannot be left alone. Bill and I are not physically able to lift or move her if needed, so we will need medical staff to assist us at most hours of the day due to her current condition. Bill has issues with his back, and I've been undergoing spinal treatment with an upcoming surgery and other injuries from a car accident. Our health hurdles also affect our finances because we are both on a fixed income between disability for my stepfather and I'm on Worker's Compensation.
It is my mother's wish that she spends what time she has left at home, and we are going to do our best to make sure that that happens. To do this, we may need to hire help to come assist in daily routine needs for my mother.
Our family will allow visiting once she is home and settled, and potentially on a day to day basis depending on her condition.
We are hoping for the best, but also need to prepare in the event that we need extra help.
THANK YOU for any donation that you can provide, or even just sharing on your social media with friends. Anything helps! Including prayers and positive vibes!
Thanks again!
