Thank you so much from myself and Crystal's family to all of you! We have reached our goal and are in preparation for Crystal's cremation and celebration of life. As these are the most difficult times for her family, they have not yet decided on a day to celebrate Crystal's life and memory. However, I will update soon on a day and time once they have had time to process this. Thank you for all of your support!

Update: On Oct 24th Crystal was taken off life support. In the early hours this morning on Oct 26th Crystal took her last breath. May Crystal rest in peace! Please keep Crystal's family in your prayers while they continue now to navigate through their loss. We will update here and on her fb page when and where her celebration of life will be. My name is Jessica, I am the stepmother to Gaige Boland (Crystal Clay’s only child), and I'm setting up this GoFundMe for the family of Crystal Clay.

On October 4th, during an outing with her mom at the Oregon coast, Crystal had a massive stroke. She was rushed to the Lincoln City hospital and was later rushed to a Portland hospital where she's remained in the ICU on life support ever since. Her mom, son, and siblings have been by her side daily, as well as friends. The family has spoken to multiple doctors and are receiving the same diagnosis from each of them. The stroke has left Crystal incapacitated. At this time, it is with the deepest sadness that the most difficult decision any parent, child, or sibling will ever have to make is that Crystal will be taken off life support on Oct. 24th. As much as her family and friends will miss her fun, spunky, and wild personality, the family also knows that Crystal will not recover from this, and they do not want her to suffer any longer.
