Hey everyone,

I am Alicia Anderson and I created this GoFundMe for Crystal and her fur baby, Blaze, in support of some awful, unexpected medical concerns and expenses for Blaze.

On Feb. 9th after doing his regular morning stretch, Blaze yelped out in pain and has basically been immobile since. It has weighed heavily on everyone in the home to see such an energetic, young (3 yrs) pup, go from appearing perfectly fine to refusing to move because he is too anxious and afraid of creating more pain.

As you can imagine, this has weighed even heavier on Crystal. Aside from the emotional stress of having a loved one in pain and not knowing how to fix it. She has taken the last week off work and been diligently taking him to appointments, ER rooms, and has sought all the professional help she can think of. To date, Blaze is still in significant pain (despite the anti-inflammatories, muscle relaxers, and pain killers every 8 hours) and continues to lay around, looking sad, as he is too worried to move and no one has been able to find the exact cause of his medical concern. Blaze has seen 3 vets, 1 neurologist, 2 radiologist, had 2 CT scans, and a spinal tap….and everything has been inconclusive.

These necessary steps have cost Crystal well over $6,000 and this medical journey is far from over for her and Blaze. He will potentially need more tests/scans and will likely benefit from some physiotherapy once his acute pain is identified and resolved.

Many of you may know that Crystal has also been taking steps toward having a baby for the past 4 years and as of recent has been doing IVF, she has completely dedicated her lifestyle and energy toward having a baby, despite the financial costs of over $17,000. She has done all of this without complaint, or requesting the help of others. Crystal, as we know, is one of the most loyal, caring, unselfish people we could ever wish to hold close in our lives. She wouldn’t bat an eye if you asked for help and she would never expect anything in return.
