URGENT — Crumble Needs Life-Saving Surgery

Our sweet little Crumble is only 10 weeks old , far too young to be facing something like this. He’s such a bright, happy, playful, loving kitten who deserves a chance at a long, pain-free life.

Sadly he has a rectul prolapse He’s already had a purse-string suture twice , the first time it was too loose and the prolapse came back, the second time it was too tight and he couldn’t pass any poo, leaving him swollen, sore, and in pain. The sutures were removed.

Since the sutures were removed his prolapse has stayed out despite everything we’ve tried. We’ve now seen a vet for soft tissue surgery who has recommended a new operation fixing his rectum to the abdominal wall so it cannot prolapse again.

This is a major operation with big risks, especially for such a tiny kitten, but Crumble cannot live with a prolapse. It’s dangerous the tissue could die, it can cause severe complications, and it can even be fatal. He needs this surgery
